In Lieu of Flowers:

J Preston Martinez (Preston, Sr.)revered his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, his family; his wife, sons and their wives, and all his precious grandchildren, great grandchildren as well as his siblings and their families. You knew in short order that family was Preston's joy and love. When the Lord lead Preston to form the vocal group with his sons, The Martinez Family Ministries, their Gospel music touched countless souls throughout California, as well as other States. In fact, there is another CD in the works that the family had been working on for some time that they hope to finalize soon.

With Preston's motivation, dedication and love in serving the Lord through Gospel Music, testimonies and the Word of God, the family has requested that in lieu of flowers, monetary remembrances be made to perpetuate The Martinez Family Ministry as Preston Sr. would have desired.

Thank you for your prayers, telephone calls, and other acts of kindness you have demonstrated during this time of Preston's home-going! Remember the song the Lord gave Preston and he composed years ago, "I'll Just Change My Address?" Well that's just exactly what Preston did. We are all thanking and praising the Lord for his life, his faithfulness and example he demonstrated in loving and serving Jesus Christ.

April 10, 2013

On this 3rd anniversary of my father in law's home going I thought I would re-post an interview that my friend Julie Titus Sanders asked me to participate in.

Thank you J. Preston Martinez for the God honoring legacy that you have left to your family. Because of it we will have the privilege of seeing Him face to face!
